The 2027 calendar

As of 25 October 2026 there is no published plan for Clara Tauson in 2027. The tennis year follows a fixed pattern, though, which gives a good idea of where she could appear once she is ready:

  • January: Australia and New Zealand – the United Cup (1–10 January), Brisbane, Auckland, Adelaide and Hobart, then the Australian Open in Melbourne from 17 to 31 January 2027.

  • April–June: the European clay season, with the French Open (Roland Garros) as its highlight.
  • June–July: the grass season with Wimbledon.
  • July–September: the North American hard courts with the US Open.
  • September–November: Asia and the end of the season.

How to read a player’s schedule

A player’s schedule is built around the WTA categories. The Grand Slams carry the most points, followed by WTA 1000, WTA 500 and WTA 250 events. The ranking counts the best results over the last 52 weeks, and the points from a tournament drop off when that tournament is played again the following year. That makes the choice of events – and the timing of a return from injury – important.

Her 2027 schedule will therefore depend on her back and calf, on the rankings and on her coach, Kasper Elsvad. She is No. 54 in the world (as of 19 October 2026). How many points she has to defend from 2026, and how her ranking has moved week by week, is on the Clara Tauson ranking page.
