Clara Tauson Racket and Sponsors

Racket, clothing and sponsors – what Clara Tauson plays with and who paid for the road to the top.

Updated 25 October 2026 ·

Clara Tauson plays with a Yonex Percept 100, and Yonex is the sponsor that has been with her longest – since 2018. In the past the investment firm Seier Capital, the law firm Kromann Reumert and Bestseller have also backed her. Her clothing deal for 2026 has not been confirmed. This page covers what is known about the Clara Tauson racket, her equipment and her sponsors.

Clara Tauson racket: Yonex Percept 100

She uses a Yonex Percept 100, as shown in Yonex's own presentation of her kit. The equipment site TennisNerd wrote in September 2025 that it may be a Yonex VCORE Pro 100 painted as a Percept 100. This has not been confirmed by Yonex or by the player, so we only state what Yonex shows.

Strings and grip

According to Yonex she uses strings from the Poly Tour range – Poly Tour Spin 125 and Poly Tour Pro 125 are named – and the Yonex Super Grap overgrip. TennisNerd mentions Poly Tour Strike instead. String choices can change from event to event, so these details are less certain than the racket model itself.

Clothing and shoes

Her clothing sponsor for 2026 has not been confirmed by a reliable source. In 2022 she wore adidas, including a jacket from adidas' collaboration with designer Rich Mnisi at Indian Wells, featured by the WTA in an article on players' outfits. A Danish website claimed in 2026 that she has an adidas clothing deal, but cited no source. We have found no reliable source for her shoes either.

Clara Tauson sponsors, past and present

Yonex has been the most stable partner: a three-year deal was announced in December 2018, when she was already using Yonex rackets, and she is still listed as a Yonex player in 2025 and 2026. Several Danish companies have also supported her:

  • Seier Capital: the investment company of Lars Seier Christensen signed a five-year deal with her in May 2019, running to around 2024.
  • Kromann Reumert: the law firm signed a three-year deal in January 2022, which ran until the end of 2024.
  • Bestseller: the fashion group provided a clothing sponsorship worth DKK 25,000 with her Olympic Hope of the Year award for 2018.

She also received a US$25,000 grant from the International Tennis Federation (ITF) in January 2019. Before the bigger deals, awards helped too: she shared the C WorldWide talent award with Holger Rune in April 2018 (DKK 50,000 each, according to TV 2) and was named Olympic Hope of the Year at DR's sports gala in January 2019. From December 2018 until at least May 2019 Mikkel Bækgaard Nissen of Nordic Sports Group acted as adviser and agent for the family; her current agency has not been reported.

What sponsors mean for a player outside the top 50

For a tennis player, sponsorship is more than a bonus. Players pay for their own travel, hotels, coaches and physios, and the prize money in early rounds does not always cover those costs. The lower a player is ranked, the more regular sponsorship income matters for keeping the team she needs.

Tauson knows this first-hand. Her family paid for her tennis until 2017, and in 2017–2018 her father estimated the cost of a season at around DKK 650,000. In December 2022 her partnership with coach Olivier Jeunehomme ended because, according to TV 2, the family could not afford to renew the contract – see Clara Tauson's coaches.

Today the picture is different. According to the WTA she has earned $5,762,435 (about DKK 38 million) in career prize money, $1,334,084 of it in 2026. She is No. 54 in the WTA rankings (as of 19 October 2026). All figures are on the Clara Tauson prize money page.

What is Clara Tauson's net worth?

There is no reliable figure for her net worth. The only estimate we have seen is from the Danish site sportguro.dk, which puts her annual earnings at around DKK 13 million including sponsors – without saying where the number comes from. It is an estimate, not a fact. The size of her sponsorship deals has not been published, so her official WTA prize money is the only solid number.
